5 stars: I love these Academy games. playing a softmore with a saved character is great because you literally just jump in with all your features and standings. its amazing. I hope a Jr and senior year will be released. I would buy them in a heartbeat.
4 stars: It seems it would've been better as a standalone, but I don't really mind. It was entertaining and as much as I was rooting for more romance with Val, it was barely there. That keeps me from giving it a 5 star. Overall the story was fun and insteresting and I'm hoping there will be more romance in the next one (if there even will be one). But go ahead and play this, you won't regret it.
3 stars: Though undeniably good as a standalone game, I feel conflicted towards rating it as a good sequel, namely because of how little preexisting alignments, choices, and relationships (save for Aurion) seem to contribute to the story except for the five main stats, though even that is more personal taste. Also, I played a Thriller character who underwent a transformation, but it seemed to be entirely wiped from the sequal's code.
3 stars: As a stand-alone game this one is fine. However as a sequel this game basically ignores every ending from the first game. If you sided with the heroes or broke the school into two factions that is written out right at the start.
