3 stars: App itself is amusing and fun, however fatal flaw when trying to subscribe. App can't connect to its own subscription server, so any and all advanced functions including widgets are completely inaccessible. App does take full responsibility in it's error message and suggests yelling at it's meatbag developer, so consider this yelling. Fix this, and I might consider changing my mind.
3 stars: Yes, it's entertaining. I am looking for a dark sky alternative. The one feature I can't seem to find in any other app is an hour-by-hour rain forecast for future days. Carrot provides that for the next 24 hours but not beyond that. I really need that level of specificity for future days up to 1 week as well. I would gladly pay for this if it had that one feature. Unfortunately, I am moving on to evaluate yet another app.
4 stars: Pretty decent app, does what its supposed to, has its charm, but a few days after my subscription renewed it started saying my subscription wasnt valid, and its clearly broken so I have no idea how to get this fixed, but the year before that it was just fine
4 stars: The app on Android is great so far. It would be nice to have more of a variety in the widgets, such as the current time and date on the widget (there is enough screen space for it) along with the weather.
3 stars: Location search works better, but is not incremental,providing a running list which is refined as you type and can be selected when you see the location you want.
